Sponsor a Pony or Stable

Our “Sponsor a Pony or Stable” scheme is a way of helping to support our ‘3 Rs’ philosophy, Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome. By sponsoring a pony for £3 a month you are helping towards the costs of us keeping them safe and provided for, for the rest of their natural life. You are helping towards the rehabilitating of rescued equines and wherever possible, finding them a safe and secure future with a loving Guardian home.

Sponsorship helps us raise funds to continue our work rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing horses and ponies who are the victims of neglect, cruelty and starvation

Sponsoring a pony costs from just £36 a year and you will receive a certificate, photo of your pony and a rosette.

Sponsoring a Stable costs £120 a year £10 per month by direct debit. Sponsoring a Stable helps us to keep one of our rescues warm, safe and comfortable while they go through rehabilitation. As a thank you, you will receive a certificate and your name displayed on a board outside your sponsored stable.

Caesar donkey is a sweet boy who came in to the Trust with his companion Misty. They belonged to a lady who could no longer meet their needs. When we collected them their feet were long, they had seedy toe, were suffering with a lice infestation causing hair loss and scabs. Casesar  was suffering with an eye condition causing them to be sore, he was also very scared on arrival, visibly trembled and threw himself on the floor. He is gaining now gaining trust and has had his eyes operated on to make him more comfortable and pain free.

Misty came to us in April 2021 along with his companion Caesar. Despite being nervous when he arrived, he was the more confident of the two, but really disliked being caught and handled.  Misty is a handsome cheeky donkey, who thinks it is a fun game to pull off Caesar’s special fly mask. Now that he has had the correct training and all of his routine health treatments, he is on track to become a confident, happy donkey.

Linus is a handsome traditional cob gelding. He arrived at Lluest in January 2012 along with 5 others. They had been fly grazing in the South Wales area. Linus has a fantastic temperament which is why he has the important job of assisting with educational days and programs. He also helps new rescues settle in, shows them the ropes and gives confidence to newly backed ponies.
