Sponsoring a pony costs just £25 a year and you will receive a certificate, photo of your pony and a rosette.
Sponsoring a Stable costs £120 a year £10 per month by direct debit. Sponsoring a Stable helps us to keep one of our rescues warm, safe and comfortable while they await their forever home. You will receive a rosette, a certificate and we will display your name on a plaque on your stable.

Don’t forget to download and send us a Gift Aid Form with your sponsorship. Your donation will be worth 25% more to us by filling it in.

Sarabi is a Welsh Mountain mare who was rescued in the summer of 2018 with her colt foal, Simba. Lovely Sarabi was in foal again and in May 2019 gave birth to another little colt we named Zazu. Sarabi will stay on our farm and is on our sponsorship list as she has ongoing dental issues which require regular check ups from the vet.

Millie the mule is a sweet girl who came in to the Trust with her Shetland companion Arlo. They belonged to a lady who could no longer meet their needs due to her own ill health. When we collected them their feet were very long and they were both underweight. Millie also had a loose front tooth.That has now been treated, they have gained a little weight and they are delightful.

Gwen is an orphan foal who was found stuck in a gorge on a mountain by two walkers in July 2019. They pulled her out and called us. We were unable to find the foal’s mum and so we brought her to the farm and fed her mare’s replacement milk. Little Gwen is now doing well but has had a difficult journey up to now.

Linus is a handsome 5-year-old traditional cob gelding. He arrived at Lluest in January 2012 along with 5 others. They had been fly grazing in the South Wales area. Linus has a fantastic temperament which is why we have decided to keep him for educational purposes and to welcome any new rescues, show them the ropes and to help settle them in. Linus also takes part in displays at Lluest, so why not come and see him in action.

Silas is a very small and cute Shetland gelding. His age is unknown but we believe he is in his late teens. Silas suffers from Cushing’s disease and is on medication. He loves cuddles and attention.

Rubin is a 17hh Chestnut 18 year old retired police horse, he served with South Wales Police from the age of 4yrs old for 14 years until 2020. As well as being one of the bravest, he was also the longest serving horse the Force has ever had. Rubin worked tirelessly to help keep the public safe, including leading the procession at Harry and Meghan’s Royal Wedding, large sporting events, 2012 Olympics, NATO conference, festivals, and neigh-bourhood policing duties. 

Sponsoring a retired horse helps provide vital funds to give them the best care through their retirement and also helps with the care of up to 30 rescued horses and ponies also living on our farm.

Sponsorship helps us raise funds so we can continue rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming horses and ponies who are the victims of neglect, cruelty and starvation. If you sponsor one of our horses or ponies you will be able to come and visit them on Open Day and at other times by arrangement.
