Sponsorship of donkey Misty, is a way of supporting the rehabilitation and care of Misty and his friends. Our “Sponsor a Pony” scheme is a way of helping to support our ‘3 Rs’ philosophy, Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome. For only £3 a month you are helping towards the costs of rehabilitation and wherever possible, and consequently finding a safe and secure future in a loving Guardian home.
Misty and his companion Caesar arrived at Lluest Horse and Pony Trust in April 2021. He was nervous but was the more confident of the two donkeys on arrival. He really didn’t like to be being caught and handled. Misty is a handsome cheeky donkey, who thinks it is a fun game to pull off Caesar’s special fly mask. Now that he has had the correct training and all of his routine health treatments, he is on track to become a confident, happy donkey.
Sponsor’s can visit their sponsored animal on Open Days and at other times by arrangement. Most importantly donkey Misty sponsorship helps us raise vital funds to continue our work rescuing equines who are the victims of neglect, cruelty, abandonment and poor circumstances.
