Our “Sponsor a Pony” scheme is a way of helping to support our ‘3 Rs’ philosophy, Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome. By sponsoring a pony for £3 a month you are helping towards the costs of us keeping them safe and provided for, for the rest of their natural life. You are helping towards the rehabilitating of rescued equines and wherever possible, finding them a safe and secure future with a loving Guardian home.

If you sponsor one of our horses or ponies you will be able to come and visit them on Open Day and at other times by arrangement. Sponsorship helps us raise funds to continue our work rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing horses and ponies who are the victims of neglect, cruelty and starvation.

Description

Sarabi is a Welsh Section A mare who was rescued in 2018 with her colt foal Simba. Both were named following a Lion King naming theme at the Trust. 
Sarabi and Simba came from a herd belonging to an elderly gentleman who was too poorly to care for them. She was in foal again when she arrived and has reared another beautiful colt foal called Zazu. Sarabi is now a long-term resident of Lluest as she has had extensive treatment for loss of jaw bone from a major dental infection before her rescue.
