Introduction to Clicker Training 10am-2pm. Booking_Form

Many of our horses come in unhandled and nervous, some have had negative experiences with people before coming to Lluest. At Lluest we use a range of different training methods and try to pick the most suitable method for the horse. One of our methods is Clicker training. You may have heard of clicker training with dogs or even dolphins, but it is great for horses as well. Clicker training uses positive reinforcement,it uses a distinct and consistent signal (a click) to show a desired behavior which then is followed by motivating reward. Because the horse understand precisely which action earned the click and their reward, they learn new behaviours quickly, easily, and enthusiastically. Clicker training can be used at any stage of training and also can help improve problem ponies. If you would like to give clicker training a go then why not try our ‘Introduction to Clicker Training Course’
