Why not help make a difference to a rescue pony’s life and ‘Sponsor a Pony’ as a Birthday, Anniversary or Christmas present? Our “Sponsor a Pony” gift scheme is a way of contributing towards the costs of their rehabilitation and care.
If you are at school or part of a club why not join together with your friends and sponsor a pony (or two) as a group? Sponsoring a pony costs just £10.00 a year and you will receive downloadable certificate.

Topaz is a beautiful young mare standing at approximately 11.2hh she is rising 4yo and has been halter broken and leading well. Topaz will hopefully make a nice riding or driving pony, but currently still needs more groundwork.

Onyx is a handsome 3yo gelding he arrived at the trust in December 2014 with 3 othe ponies. He has just learnt to be caught and led and is continuing his work on his feet and grooming. Diplomat was rescued in February 2014 along with 6 other ponies, they were part of a large hill gather in South Wales. Diplomat and his herd were abandoned on the hill along with other horses and ponies. When Diplomat arrived he was underweight with a large worm burden. We also found Diplomat to be very nervous of us, over time he has improved but still does not trust humans completely. Diplomat will remain on the sponsorship scheme until he has found a suitable loan home. Sponsoring one of our rescues will help raise vital funds towards caring for up to 30 horses and ponies on the farm. |

Ella arrived at Lluest in November 2014, she was severely underweight and very nervous. Ella is coming along well and is learning to accept the headcollar. Seren is a bright rising 4yo mare standing at 12.2hh. She is very nervous but is currently learning the basics. In July 2012 Seren found herself in a local pound due to be PTS. We had a call from a lovely lady who told us about her. Shortly after we went and picked her up along with 4 other ponies. Sponsoring one of our rescues will help raise vital funds towards caring for up to 30 horses and ponies on the farm. |
SPONSOR A THERAPY/EDUCATION PONY
We have 3 ponies that will currently remain on site to help us do the very important work of providing education and therapy to children with learning difficulties, extra educational needs, adults recovering from mental illness and young adults with varying degrees of autism. These special ponies are really making a difference to the lives of these people and by sponsoring one you will be helping us continue with this work.

LINUS is a handsome 5yo Traditional Cob gelding. He arrived at Lluest in January 2012 along with 5 others. They had been fly grazing in the South Wales area. Linus has a fantastic temperament which is why we have decided to keep him for educational purposes and to welcome any new rescues, show them the ropes and to help settle them in. Linus also takes part in displays at Lluest, so why not come and see him in action. SILAS is a cute shetland gelding. His age is unknown but we believe he is in his late teens. Silas suffers from cushings disease and is on medication. He loves cuddles and attention and we are planning on using him for education in the future Sponsoring one of our rescues will help raise vital funds towards caring for up to 30 horses and ponies on the farm. |
If you sponsor one of our horses or ponies you will be able to come and visit them on Open Day and at other times by arrangement. Sponsorship helps us raise funds to continue our work rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing horses and ponies who are the victims of neglect, cruelty and starvation.
