In light of yesterday’s briefing from the Prime Minister in relation to social distancing and avoiding entering the workplace, where possible at Lluest Horse and Pony Trust office staff will be working from home.

However we are in a position where we need our staff to continue to work onsite to care for the horses and ponies. The well-being of our staff and volunteers is our highest priority to continue our work as much as possible and to the best of our abilities. We are monitoring the situation of the virus (Covid-19) on a daily basis and will act in the best interests of staff and volunteers and the horses and ponies we care for.

Visitors and volunteers

We have for now halted new volunteers from joining us and many of our existing ones have been asked to come back once it is safer to do so. We also ask that if you want to visit us that it’s only by appointment and for now that is for rehoming and emergency visits only. Thank you so much to all and any of our supporters and volunteers for everything you do.

All onsite events and trainings will be cancelled until further notice, as well as all horse tack donations being suspended for the time being. Please keep hold of them until it is safer to visit us.

Getting in touch

We will have limited staff in the office, as our priority is being outside with the horses and ponies and ensuring their care, especially as we have increased numbers coming to us at present. As much as possible we are trying to maintain business as usual, but please bear with us.

If you have a query the quickest way to get in touch with us would be via email on info@lluesthorseandponytrust.co.uk or fundraising@lluest.org, as both these inboxes are checked nearly daily.

Many thanks for your patience at this uncertain time, we will update our website and social media to any further changes. We really do hope everyone is doing ok and wish you all the best. Keep safe and well – we hope to keep you cheered up with pony tales in the meantime.

Love from all at Lluest
