Description
Maggie was found as a very young orphan foal being attacked by other ponies on a South Wales mountain in April 2021. She was given a plasma transfusion, special glue on shoes to correct weak tendons and 24 hour care. Owing to her traumatic start, Maggie has some behaviour issues and is not happy to meet new people, due to this she is a permanent resident and carefully managed by the staff she has known since she came into our care. She has behaviourists and vets involved in her ongoing care.
Sponsoring our rescues helps provide vital funds to care for up to 30 horses and ponies on our farm. Please note that while we place ponies on our sponsorship scheme because they are likely to stay at the Trust for some time, if they have a the chance of a loving home, then they will be rehomed.
