Description
Misty and Caesar donkeys are sweet boys who came in to the Trust with his companion together in 2021. They belonged to someone who could no longer meet their needs. When we collected them their feet were overdue a trim, they had seedy toe, were suffering with a lice infestation causing hair loss and scabs. Caesar was suffering with an eye condition causing them to be sore, needing an operation. He has gained some trust but is violently fearful of the vet. Misty is a confident donkey and enjoys attention.
Sponsor’s can visit their sponsored animal on Open Days and at other times by arrangement. Most importantly sponsorship of the donkeys helps us raise vital funds to continue our work rescuing equines who are the victims of neglect, cruelty, abandonment and poor circumstances. Please note that while we place ponies on our sponsorship scheme because they are likely to stay at the Trust for some time, if they have a the chance of a loving home, then they will be rehomed and your sponsorship will be transferred to another pony.
If purchasing sponsorship as a gift, please specify the recipient’s name in the Notes section on the Checkout page.
