Riding or Driving Ponies

We don’t advertise all our available horses and ponies so if can’t see your new equine best friend here, please contact us to see if we have something suitable.

If you are interested in offering a long-term guardian home to any of our horses and ponies please fill in a Lluest Loan Application Form and post it back to us or alternatively please email equine@lluesthorseandponytrust.co.uk. For more information on our Guardianship Scheme call 01550 740661

Luna (under application) –  is a confident cob mare approximately 13hh. Luna is now going well under saddle and is making a lovely, calm riding pony. She was rescued in winter 2016 having just weaned a foal and only a baby herself. She will make a wonderful family friend or child’s pony in time and is looking for a capable young rider to continue her education.

Lyra (rehomed) –  is a 6-year-old 13.2hh cob mare. She has a placid laid-back nature and is good to handle in all ways. Lyra is not easily spooked and has the potential to become a safe family pony. She has been lightly backed and is continuing her education until she finds a lovely home. She is currently turned out in a mare’s group and is happy to live in or out.

We are seeking an experienced home for Lyra to continue with her ridden education.

Topaz is a stunning 6-year-old bay roan pony who stands at 12hh. She has worn tack and long reins beautifully and she is very responsive and forward going. She is looking for  an experienced guardian home as a potential driving/riding pony or as a companion.

Hope (rehomed) –  is a 7yo pretty grey Welsh pony, approximately 11.2hh. She was lightly backed here before going to a home where she was predominantly used as a companion pony, but was hacked out by a lightweight adult. She has also been led out from another horse for exercise. Hope will be brought back into work here at the Trust whilst she waits for her perfect home.
