A group of animal lovers are hoping to raise some much needed funds for a Welsh charity this March by running into the sea at Broad Haven beach. More than a dozen supporters of Lluest Horse and Pony Trust will be taking part in the "Mad March Dip" on Sunday 18th March. The daring dippers will also be joined by some four legged friends at the event as two horses are going for a swim accompanied by their riders.
And to be sure that the fundraisers really earn their sponsorship money the event organiser Milford Haven student Rebecca Algieri, 19, has come up with one golden rule - no wetsuits. " I want people to feel like we've really had to work hard for every donation, and coming from Pembrokeshire I know just how bracing the waters can be, so the no wetsuit rule seems like the perfect plan," explained Rebecca . " Lluest Horse and Pony Trust is a really deserving cause so as I'm splashing around in the cold water I'll be thinking of all the needy ponies I'm helping."

Wonderful supporter Nondus Banning-Boddy is running in the marathon at Llanelli on the 15th April 2012 in aid of the Trust.
Nondus has run many times for different charities and this time we are very lucky and grateful this amazing lady has chosen Lluest.
The demands on the Trust are ever growing as the economic downturn has seen the numbers of abandoned and starved horses increasing daily. As soon as we are able to send a horse or pony out on loan we fill that place from the list of horses and ponies like Miar in desperate need of help.

Miar Before

Miar After
People like Nondus make it possible for us to continue our work while coping with decreasing donations and rising costs.
Please help us show Nondus how much we all value her support by donating to her Just Giving Page.

Thank you Nondus!
