Below are some of the ponies that we have taken into our care. You can show you care in so many ways including helping with a regular donation by standing order - just 50 pence a week will help other ponies like these. Thank you. Willow came to us in 2008. At just 1 yr old she had been taken to Llanybydder sale, but did not sell. She was 'dumped' in a driveway and eventually found a home with a kind lady willing to take her in. She was well looked after but with only calves for company and very little handling she had almost forgotten what being a young pony was all about. We were asked to help when a little human life came into the family and time for Willow became even more scarce. Now approx 51/2 years old her training at the Trust is progressing and will continue until she is eventually ready to go on to a foster home, where she can give pleasure to children perhaps through pony club, but most importantly become a happy, loved and fulfilled little pony.
Maggie came to Lluest in April 1997 aged 2 years. She had been struggling to survive on the Gower marshes - struggling to support not just herself but her unborn foal. She nearly died giving birth to the foal already dead inside her.
Above Maggie as she was when she came to us and below as she is today. |
