Because of the nature of equine rescue work every day at Lluest Horse and Pony Trust can bring new challenges, sadness and wonderful successes. Looking after a wide range of horses and ponies from foals to veterans, every size, type and age – many with various medical and behavioural issues, is incredibly rewarding and a privilege.
The philosophy at the farm is to treat every equine with patience, respect and dignity. Our handling and training programmes are tailored to each individual with the emphasis on positive reinforcement. No one training method is ever adopted. We adapt to suit each horse and pony’s personality, innate ability, health and past experiences.
